Help for the Staff Appreciation Lunch, 12/20, 10:30AM-1:30PM:

After school let’s out for winter break next Wednesday at 11:30, all the Eakin staff gather in the library for a lunch hosted by the PTO. We need about a dozen parents who would be able to help set up, serve, and clean up. It’s fun and you get to hang with teachers. Please simply reply to this email if you can be part of the parent crew. (We don’t want students hanging out in the library, so seek those playdates or other childcare options.)

Help with Holiday food boxes:

There’s also a need for a few more helper for the Holiday Food Box giveaway. The boxes are packed this Saturday, 12/16, and distributed Wednesday, 12/20.  Please see the url below:

Lost and Found:

There are over 200 items on racks by the gymnasium. I’ll roll them out for parents to look through a couple more times before break, but they’ll be donated/tossed over break. There are some nice clothes and other items I know are wanted back.

Spring Musical and Talent Show:

Yes, it's happening.

The Spring Musical will only be open to grades 3, 4, and 5. The musical will be a very ambitious project with multiple staff members and lots of parents helping. So if your child is a maybe, fill out that ticket and get it to their teacher. Packets will be distributed starting Monday but commitments aren't expected until we get back from break.

The Talent Show will be open to all Eakin students. Tell your kids and ruminate on it over break. Signups will start after break.
