Hot Wheels Club
Grades K-2 (by Wonder for All) $150
Eakin NASHcar racers will have a blast using over 1,000 feet of Hot Wheels tracks and hundreds of Hot Wheels cars. Students will be given station play opportunities to master skills involving science, technology, engineering, art, and math- all in the context of PLAY! There will be time for both independent and team play as well as fun team challenges involving racing and track building.
Clay Club
Grades 3-5 (by Wonder for All) $200
Clay club is a brand new club all about creating tiny things in 3D! Using colorful polymer clay and a wide arrange of molding tools, we will choose a theme each week and everyone will make their own creations of that theme.
Garden Club
Grades K-5 (by Wonder for All) $150
Students will interact with local conservation experts, neighbors, learn basics of sustainable gardening, plant vegetables, grow native plants from seed, build rain barrels, and become familiar with native flora and fauna of Middle Tennessee.

This fitness focused club culminates in a 5K. Girls on the Run is a national non-profit with a local chapter that seeks to empower girls through the challenge of running. This club meets Tuesday and Thursday, one registration.
LEGO Explore

In Explore, teams of students ages 5-8 focus on the fundamentals of engineering as they explore real-world problems, learn to design, and code, and create unique solutions made with LEGO bricks and powered by LEGO® Education SPIKE Essential.

Could you change the description on the coding club to be this one: Unleash your creativity and dive into the exciting world of coding! Join the Eakin Coding Club, where 3rd-5th grade students will learn Scratch programming and work together to build their very own Minecraft-inspired game. Over 14 weeks, students will gain hands-on coding experience, develop problem-solving skills, and create something truly amazing!

Yoga Club’s creative and vibrant classes teach children movement, breathing, meditation, and relaxation. Yoga poses, stories, songs and imagery blend together for a fun way to increase strength and flexibility, improve gross and fine motor skills, improve attention and focus, as well as give children useful tools for calming the mind and managing life. *NO yoga mats please, and children are to remain in standard school attire.
Scholars Club

Join our Scholars Club at Eakin Elementary each Wednesday, designed for 3rd-5th grade students reduce TCAP stress while fostering a love for learning! This dynamic 14-week program is tailored to help students reach their full potential through focused preparation and engaging activities.
Pokemon Club

Students strategize and compete with other players while developing reasoning skills. There will be opportunities for trading and during club, students will learn ways to conduct fair and appropriate trades, while above all, learning how kindness, friendship, and fairness are hallmarks of the best trainers.
Earth & Space Club

Blast off! Eakin scholars will grow their wonder for the universe as they practice skills of observation, wonder, and exploration. Students will participate in weekly earth and space investigations.

Watercolor Club
Grades 3-5 (Wonder for All) $200
We will explore how watercolor interacts with paper and brushes, as well as how to blend, stack, add pen, guache, and even collage with our artwork. Supplies will be provided and each student will go home with a piece of work showcasing a new skill each week.
Chess Club
Grades 3-5 (by Wonder for All) $200
This year, chess club will include a small competition with prizes to win, along with the honor of being the master of the chess board at Eakin. Every week we will start with a little bit of theory on how to play and then try to put that in practice. This club is for beginners who want to learn to play and understand the game and experienced players who want to learn more about their strategies. It will be all about kings and queens. No screens.

DIG
Grades K-5 (by Wonder for All) $180
Eakin explorers will grow their wonder for Nashville and Tennessee’s natural history as we discover Nashville’s ancient past. Explorers will develop and practice skills of observation, wondering, and exploring Nashville’s prehistoric and cultural history by researching, finding, recording, sketching, preserving, and displaying artifacts.

Clubs attendees get dismissed to the Eakin auditorium. Dismissal from clubs occurs at 4:15. Students that attend FunCo, ECP, and EHH aftercare programs are escorted to those programs.
