Exception: Girls on the Run runs 8 weeks, begins September 23, and ends with the 5K on December 6. Registration for GOTR may remain open longer.
Dismissal & Aftercare
Students report to the Eakin auditorium after school. Walkers and car riders are dismissed at the main office entrance at 4:15 PM. Students in FunCo, ECP, and EHH are escorted to those programs.

Mondays
ASL Club — $200 — Learn the basics of American Sign Language—fingerspelling, everyday signs, and Deaf culture—through games and interactive practice
Science Club (Mr. Bond’s Science Guys) — $126 — Get ready for a sizzling session of science at our Crazy Chemistry-themed science club! Young scientists-in-training are invited to join us for a fall filled with exciting chemical reactions, bubbling potions, and explosions. Students will dive into the fascinating world of chemistry: mixing, measuring, and creating their own scientific wonders. From erupting volcanoes to making slime and discovering the secrets of the pH scale, our experienced instructors will ignite a passion for chemistry in every child. Don't miss out on a season of hands-on learning, laughter, and exploration as we unlock the mysteries of the periodic table and have a blast in the lab!
I’m With the Band — $300 — If there’s one club that rocks more than the geologist’s rock club, it’s the epic after-school Eakin Live Music Club—aka “I’m With the Band!" Students will dive into the world of live music, learning not just stage performance, but also how to produce an entire live event. Topics include instrumentation, rehearsals, venue management, and event promotion—all led by educator and professional entertainer Matt “Mr. Matty” Walberg. No musical experience or instruments required (though students are welcome to bring their own). One thing’s for sure—this club is gonna rock!
Coding — $195 — Learn Scratch and collaborate to build a Minecraft-inspired game; grow problem-solving skills along the way. (Top progress prize: $50 Minecraft Gift Card.)
Tuesdays
Girls on the Run — $250 — A fitness-focused program that builds confidence and friendships through running and teamwork, culminating in a celebratory 5K. (Meets Tuesday & Thursday for 8 weeks)
Yoga (Brandice) — $125 — Playful, beginner-friendly yoga that teaches movement, breathing, and mindfulness to build strength, flexibility, and focus—no mats needed.
Step Up with Ms. Sears — $115 — Bring the beat! Learn step fundamentals—power, precision, and teamwork—in a high-energy, all-levels-welcome club.
Little Art House (K–2) — $120 — Weekly artmaking inspired by books and artists; explore new materials and creative processes.
Gardening – Let’s Grow Eagles — $125 — Hands-on outdoor learning: plant fall crops, learn about soil and pollinators, and care for our school garden.
Wednesdays
Movie Magic — $200 — Watch and discuss great films while exploring storytelling, cinematography, and creativity—then start storyboarding like real filmmakers.
Yoga (Amanda) — $125 — Creative, kid-friendly yoga that blends movement, breathing, and mindfulness to boost focus and flexibility—no mats needed
Robotics — $195 — Build multiple solar-powered robots with a 12-in-1 kit to keep while learning the basics of mechanical design and renewable energy
Volleyball — $175 — Learn passing, serving, movement, and teamwork in a supportive skills clinic with fun drills and mini-games.
Thursdays
Girls on the Run — $250 — (Same registration as Tuesday; meets Tue & Thu. for 8 weeks)
Homework Lab (3–5) — $95 — A quiet, structured space to finish assignments, get help, and build strong study habits.
