The Promise Season 2

If you’ve never heard the podcast “The Promise” season 2, I suggest you listen to it. It focuses on two MNPS Elementary schools: Warner Elementary and Lockeland Spring Design Center in East Nashville.  It covers a lot of ground. It’s honest and infuriating and hopeful. It begs reflection. I will not comment further.

Jurnee's Mission

Last, but by no means least, an Eakin parent, Erika Scantling, asked me to share her efforts through the Lymphoma and Leukemia Society.  Although the event referenced was a 10 days ago, the fundraiser is active and above board. I know Jurnee from coaching the track team last spring. I didn't know about her battle with cancer. I only knew her as kid trying to figure out life. And I'm happy to help Bring Light.
