Yes, Invest in Your Child is ongoing. You should donate. You should also make sure you fill out and return one of the pink Invest flyers, there’s pizza parties involved for each grade!

Our fall clubs begin next week, mostly they sold our fast. One of our Eakin parents, Nathan Fields, is running three of those clubs: Hot Wheelin’ NashCar Racers, FIRST LEGO League, and Dig Nashville. He’s a seasoned science educator and has run these clubs before, just not at Eakin. His Hot Wheelin’ and LEGO clubs filled up within 8 minutes. But there are still seats available in Dig Nashville. This club if for those kids who like fossils and archaeology. It will be an enthralling experience for the young ones. Girls On The Run and Chess both have openings too. Registration ends on Sunday night.

Fall is almost here. To me, that means basketball. Eakin has a strong presence in West Nashville Sports League (WNSL) basketball. The Hilary Strickland Court at Eakin even hosts some of the games.
I want to help your children find their Eakin teams. There are two sessions:
LATE FALL BASKETBALL

Games from 10/28 through 12/9
WINTER BASKETBALL
Registration now until 11/20
Games from 1/6 through 2/24
